Optimization Scheme of Cone Crusher Chamber

In the optimization and reform processing of the crushing chamber of the cone crushing equipment, the main guiding principle of the designing scheme is easy, convenient and practical. The installation of the main parts of the machine maintains the same for the purpose of convenient to the installation and maintenance, saving investment and optimization of the crushing effects. Adopting the pentagon crushing chamber, and on the condition of keeping the original designed crushing ratio and the structural size of the crushing machine the same, increase the biting angle and prolong the parallel band. The specific introduction is as follows:

(1) The original crushing chamber is linear type and the width of the rock discharging mouth determines to the largest extent the granularity of the product and the production capacity of the crushing machine. After the rocks are sent into the crushing chamber, they will go into the parallel band with the help of the impacting, crushing and grinding of the rocks. After that, they will continue to be impacted and crushed by the moveable cone and on the other hand, part of them will be discharged from the breaking chamber. Because the parallel band is too short, the rocks will be impacted and crushed for few times on it and the mutual impacting between the rocks will be few, for this reason, the content of medium and fine particles is very low and the new crushed particles with fine granularity is very few. It shows that some rocks are discharged without being comprehensively crushed. The reasons are listed below: firstly, the rocks is pressed and impacted by the two cone faces but there is no constraint force of other sides and there is only blockage of the materials so that diffusion will be inevitably occur in the crushing process which provides big size for the diffusion of the ore materials. Secondly, part of the ores is only crushed for once so that it cannot reach the granularity requirement of the final products. Thirdly, the rocks get huge functions before going onto the parallel band, so that part just flies out of the crushing chamber without being impacted. The last but not the least, there is only little time for them to stay in the crushing chamber, and the quantity of the rocks in the chamber is small so that the opportunity for the rocks to impact, rub and run into with each other is few, for this reason, some long and flat rocks are directly discharged out of the crushing chamber without being broken.

(2) The crushing chamber of the cone crusher that is optimized and reformed adopts the lamination crushing principle and designed as the trapezoid structure. At the same time, the materials can be kept on the upper part of the crushing chamber for a little while which will increase the material filling ratio so that the impact and friction between the materials will be increased. The bottom parallel band is prolonged and increased the crushing times of the materials in the parallel band so that the customers will get final products with fine granularity. Compared with the hammer crusher, this crushing equipment has more advantages.
