Precautions in the Use of Ball Mill

In order to achieve safe and high-yield production during the use of the ball mill, the operator should pay more attention to all aspects of the equipment to avoid failure or affect production efficiency. The following is an introduction to the precautions in the use of the ball mill.

1. Before starting up. Attention should be paid to check whether the lubricating oil level of each lubrication point of the equipment is appropriate, and add it when it is insufficient; whether the bolts of the grinding body lining plate and the connecting bolt of the grinding head and the cylinder body are loose and tightened reliably. Especially for the new type of ball mill, check whether the filling rate of the steel balls in the machine meets the requirements. If it does not meet the requirements, deal with it immediately.

2. During operation. It should be noted that the speed of the ball mill should not be lower than 400 rpm. It should be checked every 1 to 2 hours during operation to ensure the normal operation of the ball mill. The continuous operation time should generally not exceed 12 hours, otherwise the machine will be overloaded or malfunctioned. At the same time, pay attention to check the oil quantity and temperature of each lubrication part, and add oil regularly. If there is abnormal noise in the ball mill during work, turn off the power immediately and find the cause in time.

3. When parking. When the ball mill is finished, it should be noted that the ball mill should be turned off before the power is turned off, and then carry out a comprehensive inspection of the equipment. If any abnormal failure occurs, report to the technician immediately and give a timely solution; at the same time, after the machine stops, prevent the cylinder from being deformed due to a long time of stopping the grinding, so as to pay attention to the drive to rotate the grinding body. And during this time, the high-pressure oil pump is turned on to avoid scratching the bearing bush due to cold shrinkage, and the mill rotates 180 times each time.

4. When placing. When the ball mill is placed for a long time, it should be noted that after the temperature of the ball mill body has completely dropped to the ambient temperature, the cooling water is stopped, and the water in the main bearing bush is blown out with compressed air to prevent the equipment from rusting.
